Can someone discuss difference between the LTX front Ohlins mono shoc, EC136, vs. 40 mm GYTR dual clicker HPG shocks on the GT?
I thought the mono shock was only a rear suspension thing, now I notice they have them on the LTX GT. Is this electronically controlled like the rear? How adjustble is it compared to the clickers. I thought the only difference on the APEX LTX was the 136" track, but apparently not?
Thanks.

Maybe I'm confusing what you're asking, but this is the info off of Yamaha's website. Looks to me like the only difference is track length:
Apex LTX GT
Front Shocks 40 mm GYTR® dual-clicker HPG
Front Suspension Independent, double wishbone
Rear Shocks 46 mm Öhlins® HPG
Rear Suspension Öhlins® Mono Shock® II EC 136
Apex GT
Front Shocks 40 mm GYTR® dual-clicker HPG
Front Suspension Independent, double wishbone
Rear Shocks 46 mm Öhlins® HPG
Rear Suspension Öhlins® Mono Shock® II EC

Off the local Yamaha dealer website of general information on the LTX GT:
>Front: Independent, double wishbone; Ohlins® Mono Shock™ EC 136 ; 9 in. travel
Rear: Öhlins® Mono Shock® EC 136; 46 mm Öhlins® w/ electronic compression, clicker rebound adjustable shocks; 11.7 in. travel<
Off the same dealers website of general information on the GT:
>Front: Independent, double wishbone; 40 mm GYTRâ„¢ dual-clicker HPG shocks; 9 in. travel
Rear: Öhlins® Mono Shock® EC; 46 mm Öhlins® w/ electronic compression adjustment, manual rebound adjustment shocks; 11.6 in. travel<
Sure looks like a misprint on the LTX front suspension description, but this is the reason I'm confused as well. See PortYamaha.com, go to 2009 Showroom, click on model.

To my knowledge there are only a few different combos:
The GT versions of the short or long track get the GYTR clicker shocks in the front and EC ohlins in the rear.
The 08 40th edition replaced the GYTR shocks with Ohlins clicker shocks in the front but kept the same rear EC shock.
regular versions get standard HPG front shocks and KYB mono shock.
I have no idea what the RTX versions get for shocks other then floats for upfront.
Looks like a whole mess if info is in the wrong spot for what you posted.

Yep, that's definitely a misprint on Port's website..
