With my front mount setup and stand up intercooler my IAC valve is really in my way. When the throttle bodies are on it sqishes the hoses from the valve to the throttle bodies pretty badly. Can a guy eliminate this valve at all? I realize the idle quality wont be there during start up but when warm how will it affect it? Thanx guys for any help. Shad

No. The idle will skyrocket because it thinks the engine is cold. It will stay high and won't come down.

I assumed after the coolant gets the valve to operating temps it shuts off internally? I am unsure how it plays a role when warm. Thanx for the input. Shad
