Apex mountain no power lights

Hello New to this and back on the snow after 10 years. Bought used 06 Mountain and replaced faulty key switch a month ago and all good and it sat since in garage. Now no go to start and no power lights anything. Checked all fuses (2 and one main) battery voltage (great) and somewhat corroded solenoid plug (cleaned up). There is no power to the key now at all from any plug pins .
Could someone give me a list of priorities to check? I can't believe this is something severe as nothing has moved or even started since leaving. I'm hoping this sled will be more reliable on the trails. Help need to move. Thanks in advance. Bob

Did you check the kill switch on the handlebar I know it seems silly, but that little red button is the most likely culprit.

Yes Dave an easily overlooked one as well I hear. It was however engaged for the month as I hear can drain the battery . Just looking for a list of probable suspects to look at.
