I had my first trip on my 06 apex gt earlier this week. we were in wellston, MI. temps were in the upper teens to mid 20's. trails were flat and groomed, snirty in spots. didnt get off trail too much but for basic trail riding, probly averaged 45-55mph over 400miles... probably faster than that because on the big long straights i would let it eat. one mpg check i did was 14MPG and another check i did on a different day on different trails was 16.2MPG!! I was thrilled. i would run it at high speeds when the trails dictated but i dont come out of every corner and pin it. anyway i am happy with that kind of fuel mileage!! my buddies viper with 8000 miles was getting 13mpg!

That's pretty good. I get 14-15 MPG outa my Apex. I too ride pretty conservative (most of the time)
I take off & come out of corners at a moderate speed, but will pin it when conditions warrant.

Outstanding I have seen mine low as 4 to 5 on deep powder days ha ha

yeah we didnt get into too much deep powder, we did get off trail but at most was 20". so not deep really. I have a feeling the apex gt would bury easily in wet deep snow...haha.
