TECH TIP from Yamaha Face Book: Setting up your Dual Shock CK rear suspension. To set preload on the Dual Shock CK 144 rear suspension found on the FX Nytro XTX and Apex XTX, simply rotate the 3-position cam adjusters, with the rider on the sled, to achieve a control rod gap of 16-22mm. Compression damping can also be adjusted for a variety of conditions by rotating the clicker dial on the rear shock. Its standard setting is 6 clicks out, with an adjustment range of 2-12 clicks out.
