I was just wondering how long can I keep the sled tipped up on its side? I don't have anyway of suspending it from the ceiling to change the track and put extrovert drives on it.
Or is this not recommended at all for any time period.

Get a long block of wood(4"x6") with a slot cut in it. Works great. I would not put it on its side.
I have left it on either side for weeks. The oil has always stayed in the tank on mine.

The only thing I have heard is to lay it oil tank down if possible.

No probs laying the sled on either side if it is not running.

Put it on the right side or oil tank side. If you put it on the left side gas can siphon out of the vent tube and make a mess in the garage and will melt the glue that holds the sound proofing down. Learned the hard way. I believe the Manual also says right side.
I have left it on the side all day for a track change. I put a pad under the side to keep from scratching. It also helps if you support the handle bar off the floor to balance and keep it from rolling too far over.
