apex owners...

I just got my RTX and i noticed quite a bit of play in the steering column. Is anyone else noticing this? i have about an 1/8" play front to back and quite a bit side to side (which is probably more normal), but the front to back can't be a good thing? thoughts? I have learned of one other apex that has the same thing as mine. you may want to check yours.

I noticed the same thing on my Attak. Is that normal :shock:

sorry, this is not normal. My viper moves less and it has over 6000 miles of wear and tear. My dealer is going to look into it. This could obviously be a wear point. All that play and things will wear especially if you actually ride it hard.

I was thinking the opposite and that the steering on my Attak was tighter than both my RX-1 and Warrior.

The GT came in yesterday.

Very minor play in the Steering.

Less than the Warrior by a fair bit.

It never bothered me on the Warrior.

I noticed simalar play on my Attak. I do remember having play in my RX1 as well......

MY 98 SRX,00 SRX,03 RX1 all have some play in them.

I'll second that. You won't even notice it when you ride. You folks are getting nervous on us, take a day off, its just a snowmobile. 8)
