I'm putting my clutch kit in today. Several questions:
1. Should the 6 allen lock screws for the primary weights pivot bushings be loctited?
2. With the primary sitting face up on the workbench: After removing the primary cover, the moveable sheave will stay in any position I leave it at in its travel. It won't drop from its own weight. It moves, but just stays whereever you leave it. Is this normal on a Yammie clutch? It is clean with all belt dust blown out. I'm used to P-85 Poo's that move very freely.
Thanks, RR

I always use blue loctite when I put those allen screws back in. As far as the clutch sheave, I would clean out the slide faces as best you can and then put a LITTLE clutch lube (I think it's a graphite spray) on the face. As long as it slides freely, it shouldn't be a problem.
