We talk of what the 'Poo/Doo/ Cat" people have said about our Apexs.
My Polaris buddy summed it up after a 20 mile stint on my Apex, ' Boy anybody who says that sled it to HEAVY to have any fun has NEVER RIDDEN ONE" That is a true story and I think sums it up, Apexs are fast, fun, stable, reliable and oh ya heavier - who cares.

I don't get into the Yamaha 4s weight issue just no point. What can anyone say about Yamaha 4s weight that is new? Apex and 4s engines are heavy ok what is new about that? In the meantime Doo 2s is gaining weight which is prolly a good thing more sturdy. You take away the s & the y and you know the word.

I often tell those who ridicule about the weight factor ,it is only a problem if that person is carrying the weight on there back or towing their sled, which is common for those who own two strokes,as for my 4 stroke Yamaha ,I am quite pleased with its reliability and performance and piece of mind knowing I will get to my destination and be happy and comfortable getting their, and not have to worry as much of blowing a piston or having to spend an additional $50.00 for two stroke oil .I enjoy having the extra weight in my wallet on the money I save owning my Yamaha.

Well said excallibur. I personally love both the Cat and the Deltabox chassis. I was told by a friend (who both he and his wife ride Apexes) that weight means nothing. You ride them, not carry them on your back. I get told my sled is a tank all the time- they are right. It's built tough- whilst not an Apex, it is the predecessor to the RTX, which I always had a sweet spot for. They are built like tanks- tanks can outlast anything. Lace the shoe up, wear it, and enjoy the amazing quality of your Yammie. Take a tank over a tin can any day.

I bought new SW ltx se I still and will always keep my apex 07 rtx extended to 137 with every performance part ulmer racing has. I hate when people say it too heavy. Heavy works for that sled still lift the front end with ease, more so then some 2 smokers. And there is nothing like the sound of the exhaust.
