I have a chance to pick up a 1998 MXZX 440 suspension for $250. Has freshly rebuilt shocks. Would it be worth swapping suspension on a 2007 Apex ER mono? My freind has a 2000 MZX so it would be no problem getting measurments. Any input would help. Thanks fellas. Matt

I dont think that it would be a wise choice. The sc10 skid as evolved considerably since 98. Its great that the shocks are rebuilt, but there are alot of other things that could have alot of wear. Like shafts,bearings, bushings.
Two years ago I bought a 02 SC10 III skid off ebay for $250 shipped that looked brand new. Just keep your eyes out and I think you can find something newer worth swapping.
