Put new spark plugs in my apex and changed the oil. Buttoned it back up and it's throwing engine codes 13, 15, and 84. Idles extremely low, then stalls out. Any ideas?

How was it running prior to oil Change? You run stock plugs or CR10's? You better go over it all and check your connections.

13 is "open/shorted intake air pressure sensor circuit" ... Probably forgot to plug in the sensor in the air box.

15 is open/shorted throttle position sensor.

84 is T.O.R.S. system activated.... Probably related to whatever is causing the throttle sensor fault. I would check to see if the throttle cable is out of place and look at the sensor connection.

HTH!

Tore it all down again. Checked over all connections, everything seems to be 100%. Tried to clear the codes, but the came back on again. Throttle cable all looks good on both ends and has proper amount of play at the flipper. I've read that there is a way to reset the TORS but no one gave any instruction on how to do so. At a loss here as I didn't touch anything other than fluids and spark plugs. Looking for a shorted out wire or something pinched, but can't find anything wrong

It was running fine before oil change. Put in CR9 plugs as per dealers spec.

How old is your battery? When the battery is dead it will make the sled not run/stall. If you have a car charger place it on engine start and start it up. If it runs fine then you found your problem. Did you start it prior to you servicing it? You can hear the clicking of the fuel relay prior to starting it up?

tors 84 issue

Had the error code 84 recently when I had the apex apart, the cable was pulled out from the sleeve at the throttle body adjuster. Turns out that the aftermarket throttle cable was binding when turning the handle bars, so I replaced the after market cable with a mountain sled cable as I have bar raisers of 5" and then adjusted the cable for the correct free play at all bar positions, problem solved. Before you button up the hole sled adjusted the play at the throttle body and plugged in the airbox sensor and fired it up, no more code 84. If you get the throttle cable issue resolved you don't have to clear the codes as the system resets itself. When you start it up make sure to turn the handle bar fully in both directions to make sure that the cable doesn't bind or raise the idle speed, if it raises when turning you still have an issue with the cable.

Make sure you put the coils to the spark plugs on correctly. Twist and push down making sure they are on all the way. Maybe use a little di-electric grease also. Find it weird that all you did was oil and spark plug change and problem occurred. Seems like something just isn't connected or something to that effect. You changed filter yes? You connected all wires back to the voltage regulator? Keep us posted.

Well, I read that you can somehow reset the TORS in the throttle block in the handle bar. Took apart the block, but didn't see anything. Took the clip off the bottom on the pin holding the flipper on. Took it apart and put it back together. Didn't notice anything wrong. For sh!ts and giggles, turned the key, codes are GONE!!! No idea what happened, or what I did, but its gone! Glad its fixed, but worried it could come back again. Does this make any sense to anyone? Totally bizarre.
