Never thought on any forum ever I would be writing a this vs that thread. So I'll try to stick to just this one cause I find them annoying. Anyhoo my question is strictly due to track length. I have the venture now. Will I notice much difference in the shorter track of the apex on the tight corners. After trade this would be like a 5000$ move. And I will if I'd notice great strides of change but if the shorter track would only help slightly then I won't bother. The venture is a sweety but soon as your in hairpin one your wishing you could cut it in half

I'm not 100% sure what your asking but I think you want to know if going from a long track Vector to a short track Apex will be noticable on hairpin turns?
I would say not so much, I'm sure there is some difference but not that noticeable. I have an Apex shorty and my nephew has an Attack, not much difference on average.

you will notice a big difference on the turns. especially when driving aggresivly. Even when comparing the attack and apex, there is a difference, and again the harder your driving the more you notice it, and overall it makes you feel the weight much more on the longer track. if your looking for better preformance in tighter trails , the short track will be noticable.

I have both sleds, a 2007 Venture and a 2007 Apex RTX. They are different riding machines. You ride them differently and enjoy them both for different reasons. The Venture is a great, steady, smooth, fuel efficient, comfortable, warm, sneeky fast in a straight line type of sled. The apex is like a rocket. It is lightning quick. It handles great. A skilled rider on an Apex will out distance itself from a Venture several curves back. If you are asking for advice, I would say to keep your Venture and buy a used Apex at a good price and have both sleds. If you can only have one sled, you will NEVER regret riding an Apex. Also don't let people tell you that you wont be happy with a 121" track. I and my boys have put on 4500 miles on ours with no modifications. It slides in the corners, but it is fun. However, just last week I put on USI X2 skis with 6" Stud Boy shaper bars and 96 Mack studs ($205) down the middle. It has turned a fantastic Apex into a phenominal Apex! I prefer the grip on icy trails. If you like the solid feel of the Venture, you will want to stud. If you are not crazy about all that Venure machine swinging around the corners, you will like a short track. I Know exactly what you are talking about. Good luck.
