APEX WINS MACH Z SHOOTOUT

A Supercharged Apex won the Mach Z Shootout in Manistique, MI yesterday.
I wasn't there, but 3 of my buddies were there and ran...one of my buds, Zed, placed fourth behind the charged Apex, an F1000, and a 1250 Mach.
Kudos to Zed and his stock bodied, stock suspension-ed, stock motored, nitrous-sprayed Mach.

Don't know too many details yet, but I'm sure the boys on Doo-Talk are buzzing about it......or maybe not? :yam:
Thought you guys might like to hear we were well represented. :die
 

Awesome... There are some disgruntles over on Doo-talk over this one..
 
Just to clarify a thing or 2, Howard used to own this sled but has since sold it and the owner was there with him. Howard called me on the way home from the event and said they had a great time and there was some fast stuff up there. Just nothing fast enough for the Apex, he said there were a few times when he would just blow the track away and then get back into it and try and run some people down, but he pretty much said he was the fastest thing there. He said they raced all day and maybe lost 3 or 4 times because of traction issue's. They were running a trail track with chissles I believe, and said it was flying on just 16 pounds of boost.

I don't know about disgruntles, sounds like those guys are pretty fair-minded.
I wouldn't be thrilled to have a different brand win my shootout, I guess.....lol

There was one guy for sure who whined for a few posted and then Andy670hoth, basically told him to leave the board if he did not like the outcome... :4STroke: :Rockon:
