I have a 2007 apex rtx that has been giving me issues lately. It will fire right up when it is cold and the first time I shut it off it will not start back up. The gauge pod has power fuel pump has power the battery is good it just clicks 1 time when you turn the key. I replaced the starter solonoid this past week and thought I had fixed it until it left me stranded again. I can jumpstart the sled and it will randomly fire up after that for awhile then its dead again. I had these same symtoms a couple years ago and replaced the starter solonoid and it fixed it. Thank you for any help provided.

starter
make sure all points are tight like starter red line from battery all spots, also grounds
what does your battery test out at, you may need new battery, move all wires then try to start.

I cleaned all terminals and used dielectric grease on connections. Battery was at 12.8 volts when I pulled it last week. Tearing it down now.

You replaced the starter solenoid or the starter RELAY?

By chance do you happen to run lots of powder? My Attak was acting up as well just recently but the starter would work fine after it warmed up but when it sat overnight at -20c or colder I would only here the solenoid click. I was running in the deep stuff & some snow got in just in front of the oil tank, close to the starter.
I heated the garage to thaw it out & it has been good ever since.......so far!
Thinking maybe moisture??

Oh, did you do a load test on the battery? 12.8 volts means nothing.
