Apex year to year changes ?

hey guys been a while since I’ve been on here ! I’ve been searching for a few days on if there is a year to year changes on the apex ?

I was looking at possibly a apex XTX and was wondering why they got rid of the rear skid kick or tilt up ?

it was posted on here at one point why they discontinued the tip up in 2016 but i do not remeber why.

i remeber there was a change in the wheel placement on the 2012 apex xtx as i have that skid for a spare for my 2011. other than colours and a couple of suspension changes they where pretty unchanged in their run.
