It did dramatically largely due to the Cat rails. I rode the sled this week setup with the limiter sucked up and I was worried about too much ski pressure but it was all good. The sled is soooo much better than before I can't hardly believe its the same machine. It climbs up on top out of 2 feet of snow and it rides fine on the trail, which is good because there isn't much adjustment to be had without wearing the rail tips.
The 09 skid you found does it have the floats? I've not tried one in anything but an M1000 which I rode this week (POS sled IMO, I couldn't get off of it fast enough) but in the cat it seemd to be a pretty decent skid.
