What can be done to stop that annoying clunk fron the transfer rod on the mono skid when going slowly over washboard trails. It's driving me crazy!!!

Stay off washboard trails! LOL. Welcome to the wonderful world of the Mono 1.

Had two 06 Rages and did pretty well eliminate it, but damned if I can remember what I did. Someone on here will have the answer. If not try a few minor adjustments and you will almost eliminate it.
In the mean time I will check my records and see what I can find.

LOL, I would like to stay off the washboards but is near impossible to around here.
I would love to hear what you did if you can remember.

Yeh got that too. Kind of wonder if the CK isn't a better skid.

Lots of guys like the mono but I have not been very impressed with it. But then again I have a zx2 in my sled. The mono is in my wife's so I'm comparing apples to oranges IMO. That mono would be the first thing gone if I had the sled.

I wish they still made the zx2, hard to find these days. A friend has one in a 2007 Attak stretched to 144. Works perfect, I broke my W arm a couple weeks ago in Michigan. Pat's put in a nice used arm in but it wasn't a cheap fix.

If memory serves, some guys pulled the transfer apart and installed O-rings over the shaft to provide a bit of a cushion.

My issue was likely my fault. I had rear Ohlins shock rebuilt and I should have used blue locktite on bolt threads. Front nut came off shock bolt, the bolt and bushing partially backed out so all the pressure where shock attached to W arm was only on one flange. SNAP!!
