There might be an Attack(snowmobile not heart...I hope :D ) in my furture and I'm looking for some real world feed back. After watching the Yamaha Dvd of the sleds with the rider forward seating it appears the riders are 5'5" 180ish and I'm 6'1" 250lbs with poor knees :( . I'm sure the higher seat is a plus but did any of you get a chance to spend a little time behind the wheel at the test rides?

I'm 6'1" , 300 and I thought the seating position was a bit uncomfortable. It may have been better if it were firmer and/or higher. I might just ride my old Polaris for one more year and see what changes are made on the 07's. You can always put on a Boss seat. They will build you one to match your weight so you dont get that marshmellow effect when you sit on it. Im choosing to wait for 07

The 06 proto's types had a very soft seat, The production ones are not like that, they are alot firmer, I know because I just sat on a new Attack last week. They are very comfortable.

I had some time in the saddel. I'm 6' 220lbs and loved it. This is my ride evaluation from last spring during Yamahas 06 Demo ride held in Ontario. ;)!

I am 6' and 260lbs
I have only sat on a few hours now, but the seat seems nice.
I mostly ride up by the fuel tank and my knees are not scrunched up.

OH with my left knee I have to wear a brace whrn i ride :D :D

Still very very cumpfy
;)!

I'm 6'-6" and just sitting on an Attak in the showroom, is more comfortable than riding my RX-1 on the trail.
