I read all posts on this topic. I'm getting 1 mpg worse than carbed 05 warrior. Is there a way to improve? Over 700 miles sled runs great otherwise. Probably, I should just forget it but I hate going backward. 15 mpg sounds so much better than 14. studdog.

I am gettign 15 to 16 on a regular basis.

I would imagine that it might be lower since it is putting out more HP.

My wife did get 17 in the Attak last weekend.

You probably know this, but make sure the track is not tight at all, skis aligned. Less ski pressure could help a little but dont screw up your cornering. I took 4 turns off my front shocks for example. another thing I have done in the past is use hyperfax, (teflon insert) and that gave me.. 1- 1/2 better MPG on 2 strokes, but they are awful spendy at $155 per pair.
Then your best shot might be, talk to somebody like Allen Ulmer for a clutch kit that upshifts further and sooner under light load (cruising)

That is about all I can think of.

When you take off from a dead stop don't touch the throttle on the bar!!! LOL Actually just using 1/2 throttle accelerations vise full makes a huge difference, not quite as much fun but probably get you that 1 MPG.
