Just got back from Hurley yesterday (snow was ok at best despite the good trail reports) - stage I at 5.5 lbs on brand new attak. Sled has fully clipped ripsaw (not enough studs as I need some side by side woodys backers - 56 needed if you have any) - ulmer clutched and fuel settings. We worked hard to break it in as Yami wants.
Simply put - wow! Sled ran flawlessly all week and now has around 340 miles. I am excited about getting the breakin period over. However, we did a few short lake runs (less than 1 mile) and it ran well. Needs more time on clutches as it would run to 10500 and drop back to 10k (note, sled was trail ridden warm at this point). However once it cooled it ran 10500-700 consistantly and was much much faster. I was surprised by this as I thought these engines liked to be heat soaked?
Really only had one competitor - new F1000 with y pipe mod and egts and fuel controller. Was not much of a race when the Attak was cold. It walked away from him like it was a stock F7 or SRX.
All in all...wow! Love the sled, thanks Yami and MPI.

Once you're broken in and have good fuel in it-do several back to back hard pulls(1/4 mile +) open the hood and put your hand on the intercooler Toasty! I'm at 10 psi+, performance on mine drops off noticably after such pulls-Check out Mike Knapps post w/pictures of new (BIG) CPR intercooler and fan-very interesting

Thanks. I am new to this game and all information is appreciated! I am amazed at the power this thing has...cant imagine Knapps 265 HP attak with the CPR on it! It truly must be amazing.
I just increased boost to 7lbs (24 crank grear and 26 charger) and working on the clutching. If anyone has fuel numbers for this setup it would be appreciated.
Thanks!
