Attak with charger at sea level

New to the SC world and just purchased an attak with 7 miles on it with a charger. Any advice as to what I need to do for clutching this thing for trail and some lake runs would be appreciated. Also, would assume a gauge to monitor pressure is necessary - any advice there would be great as well.
