Arctic Cat didn't have any problems with them. They're tried and true. Good shocks.
I dont think thats completely true,i have a friend that was out in thief river falls MInn.and now back on the east, coast working at a cat shop, and we have talked alot about the issues that cat has had with them, and most have been with the seals, and water getting in,now the winter is very exstream on shocks and other stuff, what works in the warmer months dosent always work well in the winter, but he assured me that they have new seals, and it has made the possibility of moisture entering by the seal now almost impossible, and i guess from what he has said that if and when you do blow a shock out,and it may not happen as often as some of us think, but when it does you know where the front end will be,down on the ground,w/out the spring to help hold everything up,i ordered the gyts but my boy got the rtx,so i am hoping everything goes well, for his sake.... :rocks:

Personally I'm doing the Ohlins on the front of my Attak and the stiffer spring on the Mono-shock. I like the idea of Fox floats but something tells me on a -10 to -20 degree morning the air spring might fail. I hope it doesn't but I'm not chancing it. I'll give them 1 more year and see.

I was thinking there would be more issues after the first year when they get a chance to set for long periods of time and after long periods of time exposed to the elements.
