Yeah, I'm like you, top speed is not my priority either, but evacuating snow sure is, I was wondering how effective a narrow gap is between exchanger and paddle. Sounds like it isn't much of a problem. I have a buddy who wants to put a 1.75 on an XTX, and wasn't sure.

Yeah, I've definitely seen my speedo at 60+ and my gps at 25mph, so the jet ski effect is definitely happening down there somewhere!

Thanks,
OTM

Yup no problem at all. I rode it some wicked snow in Montana and I was very impressed with how well it worked. I have run my sleds setup like this for years.

....and there is more space then .25" up there as well. I can shove my hand up there between the paddles and the cooler. It's more like .75"

Ok next day off must get some pics up of the current build so far. Parts list is growing but check book is getting very thin. needs some replenishment! But this will be finished at the latest for december. My wrp running boards came i am a little disappointed with the width of them may need to modify them. Current floor boards are now cut off as is every bracket that can be missed or made smaller i am going for as much weight savings as possible. :drink:

Just ordered the wrp boards for the mtx, i will get them how i want before hand. Going to make them narrower and alter the angle (raise the back more )
