Just talked to one of the locals, he drilled the ice today at 2:00 pm 27 degrees and 6-7 inches all over the place.
Going down to 3 degrees tonight.
Last weeks warm up only melted the top layer and now it is hard and smooth since no one was on it while it was soft.
There is 1-2 inches of powder blowing around on the ice, no trails are open.

I would love to go, but I still have not had any chance to run my SC Warrior to even begin to see where I am at.

Ted. It is still 3.5-4.0 hrs. I am on the Mass. border off 93 about 195 miles. Kinda spoiled I have a pond 2 miles long 1/2 mile from the house. No ice at all yet.

I'm on the fence. I need to restud the entire track and reinstall the skid. Studs won't arrive until Thursday at the earliest. I might be able to stud up Thursday night and get the skid back in Friday. Work somewhere in between.

Yes there was, On Friday only, His name is Chad Oliver a 25 year veteran racer, Very Sharp, He picked up a 1404 Hooper motor Lake racer, Very light. and he beat us by 2 lengths good race.
I am hoping he can make it this weekend so I can give him another try.
