A buddy of mine just got a new Gade 800 backcountry with a nice paddle track and now I know for sure my next purchase need to be a good deep lug track for my XTX. I know people are running the backcountry 1.75 after taking the tunnel protectors off. Can I run either of these tracks without the tunnel protector on? If so what are peoples opinions of the two. The challenger says it has a new style, not sure what it is though.

The backcountry doo comes with a 1.75 Where did you see that the challenger has a new style. Link pls. Love to see it.

My understanding is that a 2" on the XTX starts to become a cooler clearance issue. . .if not for the track lugs themselves - then the ability for the snow to properly evacuate from the front of the tunnel between the track and cooler.

2 inch challanger

had local dealer put in the 2 inch challanger, changed drivers to 8 tooth, not sure what he had to take out but i like the track, have to watch hyfax a lot more now.
