My stock 14 backfired often...sometimes engine would totally shut down after backfire...shop made some adjustments to TORS and it ceased.

2019 sidewinder xtx le, sleeping for now
I also started getting backfire pops after installing straight line header on deceleration, n/a or turbo with stock gasket, still does it.
