Got an 09 Nytro RT-X. Bad icing in the tunnel, to the point the track is rubbing on it. About 30 or so extra pounds. It sucks. Any one Plumbed in extra heat exchangers or any other fix?

:dead:

In cold temps going to get more ice then usuall.... I just stay in the habit of giving the tunnel a couple kicks with the heals every once in awhile and that seems to do the trick.... Plus the XTX 1.75 has the extra cooler which probably helps too

Umm ok, we'll thanks for the reply, but I think I'm going to try to fix it for good. Thanks man.

No direct experience with this but I'm going to try the tunnel block off described by grizz in post 3 of the link below. I've already looked and I can get 2x3 aluminum sheet at Home Depot for $30 or so...just need to measure, bend and install when I get a chance.

If you aren't running studs and don't plan to run studs remove the tunnel protectors. It cut down significantly on the ice build up in my tunnel. Its tolerable now and no more 30 lb ice cube back by my mud flap.
