Bar Risers

I just got the Pioneer Performance Catalogue. In it they say you need longer cables for a 2" bar riser? Is this true? Or are they just tring to sell more stuff.

You dont need to get longet cables. but you do have to take the cables out of the ring on the bars. or just do what i did take the ring off the sled

you dont need longer cables for 2" risers but anything over that is recommended mountain cables...i went all out for a 6" lift...had to get sxviper mtn handelbars
