Ended up going tonight,
Looked over the apex xtx and talk to a well know rep,
Not sure of the psi in the rear but by pushing down on the rear bumper the suspension felt good, by what I could see the rails are thicker, beefed up,
I ask why they took out the tip up rails, he said older xtx is still a great setup but by changing the track pitch the sled actually steers better than the tip up 144", even with the 1.75" track, also said all the geometry was changed to reduce slider wear better steering and suspension feel,

viper ltx le got the most attention there in the yamaha area, I think the seating postion plays a big factor in this, fox coilovers are nice could feel the difference between the 3 clicks, it's not a yamaha quality sled, there's a difference built in Japan IMO but it is a sweet looking sled,

I'm thinking of ordering the ltx le in blue, got some good numbers thrown at me to think about...

I kinda liked the apex le just doesn't look as awesome as the viper or sit as comfortable. Would like a tank that will go 150 miles like the viper plus don't want to hunt for premium gas all the time. On the fence right now will probably wait and see what they do next year. I don't think you will be disappointed with the viper.
