Pulled the seals off the jack and drive shafts. Sled has about 4800 km on it, bearing 's were clean, no water on gunk; added some grease with needle fitting. So, my question is, the people with bearing problems, do you park your sled in a heated area in winter? Mine stays in unheated garage from start of ride season to end.

I had my bearings changed also with about the same mileage. When I checked them out afterwards they were also in good shape. I also do not park in a heated area.

I want to change both the jackshaft and drive shaft bearings on my 05 Vector ER. How much of a problem is it to change them both. What is the procedure to do this? This has been the most trouble free sled I have ever owned. I have 4300 miles on the sled. Thanks Mike from Eden, Vt.
