Just wanted to give everybody a heads up! ;)!
Doing some maintenance on my 04 Warrior with 5700 miles on it now.
Pulled the seals off of the clutch side bearings of the jackshaft and the driveshaft, and found the driveshaft bearing had moisture in it (H2O).
I cleaned out both bearings and blew them out with compressed air than injected into both bearings Amsoil Synthetic, Water Proof Grease, THAN REINSTALLED THE SEALS.

IF YOU DO NOT CHECK THESE BEARINGS AND CLEAN AND GREASE THEM, YOU WILL BE CHANGING THEM, OR THEY MIGHT FAIL ON YOU AT AN INOPPORTUNE TIME :( :o| :drink:

How did you get the seals of without ruining them?

You can remove them very carefully with a pick type tool that has a point on the end of it, or a small flat blade screwdriver.

seals

I just found that the drive shaft bearing in mine had water in it and NO grease left with only 3600 miles. Luckily I found it while doing a track change. The seal was very loose, took it out with my fingers... It almost seemed like it shrunk.

I use a very small flat blade screw driver. It comes out easy I grease and re-install. One of mine also has some moisture in there I just re-packed it with grease and drove it.

I ALSO USE A SYRINGE ATTACHMENT FOR MY GREASE GUN, which works very well, because you can stick the needle into the bearing and inject each individual ball. And I reinstall the bolt that holds the secondary on (without the clutch) I then put a ratchet on the bolt and crank it over (track is off the ground) and put my index finger over the bearing as I'm rotating I'm pressing the grease into the bearing. I do this on both bearings and then put it back together again. ;)!

What about the non secondary side. How do you get at that one to grease. I have reverse.

Those bearings are inside the chaincase, and are getting lubed by the chaincase oil.

I have not been into my chain case yet .But on my SRX they were a sealed bearing on the chain case side.I had one go out at 6500 miles it was all rusted up?Are the RX-1 a non sealed bearing on the chain case side?
