I'm having a problem with belt slip around 12-17 Mph for a second or two under moderate load. If i accelerate very gently i get no slip. I have a belt with about 1000miles on it, its adjusted correctly in the secondary. It has a bender racing clutch kit on it with a new stock secondary springs.

All other aspects of the clutch are fine RPMs are spot on at 10500, engagement is smooth.

Could my clutches be glazed they are VERY smooth with a slight wear mark on the primary.

I have the same thing on my 06 Rage.
Posted it under Engine and Clutching-- Title " 06 Rage 2ndary " Got an answer , but have not solve squeel or high clutch temp. with the hard yamaha belts. Ultimax III belt fixes it for me.
