Just put 96 studs on my 05 vector, and it appears that i have worn a spot on the drive belt, so now it feels like the track is racheting at slow speeds and goes away at higher speeds. Any ideas how to stop this instead of replacing the drive belt all the time?? I think I wore the belt the first time by backing the sled off the trailer and catching the snow flap with the studs. The second time i'm not sure why I'm getting the thumping noise. Any ideas??

DEFINITELY replace that belt before your next ride. Typically the belt will not wear like you described unless throttle is appiled while the track is restrained from motion.
