Should have known better, did a pretty bad tail landing on accident and bent my rails up. Thought at first that I snapped my drive axle because it started ratcheting real bad (from the track loosening) luckily I was only a few hundred yards from my house. Guess I shouldn't have taken that one last jump before going home. What has anyone else that has done this, done to fix it? Of course I know buying some Yammi ones would be the easiest way, but are there any aftermarket rails that would be a better choice? Sucks, I didn't want to be done for the year, but I probably am.

Yeah, there's snow here, more than what you have and that's unusual. I'm hoping it's just the rails, wouldn't want to do the tunnel...bummer for you.

I bought Ice Age rails because I worried about the stock ones bending. I haven't had any good tail landings to really test the strength, but they look way more robust than the stock units.

Did you bend the tunnel at the rear shock mount bracket? Did you have the updated plate installed at the mount point?

Yes i have the updated plate and yes it was right around where the rear suspension bolts to the tunnel

That Sucks. There are some after market rails that are probably tougher and may be less money. MPI has some for the XTX & MTX but not sure about shorties.

I just got done taking the rear all apart, and am attempting to bend the rails back. Got them back some, have some more to go yet. I know structurally it won't be as strong as stock, so I'm going to be reinforcing it to the max. If this were the beginning of the season I would have just ordered new ones, but that's not the case. I like your reinforcement, berge75, going to do something similar.
