anyone else waiting on the bergstrom skegs. i have been waiting 6 weeks. not that i can used them but still.

I'm not waiting-but I ordered them during the season last year-Febuary maybe-they arrived quick(2 or 3 days)and performed as claimed, I'll be ordering more!

Mike, I've been there, done that with Bergstrom. It is his busy season.
I'm willing to bet that if you call him, he'll tell you that he is expecting carbide from the manufacturer any day now (gave that excuse to me twice)... :crap:

Mind you, if you've already waited 6 weeks, then you never know, you might get them tomorrow, but definately call.

Same thing here, "was waiting for carbide from the manufacturer, was supposed to be here last week", I did finally get them last year, but it took probably 6 weeks or so. He was definately a nice guy about it though, after awhile he just said, man I have no idea, I can't lie to you I'm not sure where the carbides are.

Guys, Scott Bergstrom's shop is pretty small and he only has few employees. I spoke to him last Monday and he was very busy filling orders. The best way to reach Scott is by e-mail. Let him know you ordered the carbides and that they haven't come in yet. I'm confident he will rectify the situation. His e-mail is beskegs@inwave.com.

I must say after going through the ordeal with Berstrom last year, I ended up picking up a set of Studboy duellies. After 2500km, The runners are still perfect, hardly any wear at all.

Scott makes a great product, and he's great to deal with too, so IMO: they are worth the wait, and their weight.

Finally got my Bergstrom carbides and installed them.

Now if we could just get some SNOW so I can try them!
