Best aftermarket skis to buy??

I ran USI X2's on my '07 Attak for two seasons. Loved them, great skis, good tracking, very little darting, good flotation, easy steering.

I put the USI X2's on my Nytro before I rode the Nytro right when I bought the sled. I got the sled at the end of last season so I only had a chance to ride it about 100 miles.

The USI's did not work at all as well on the Nytro as they did on the Attak. The sled steered extremely heavy at low speeds and hunted and darted pretty agressivly at speeds below 35 mph.

I plan on running the Yamaha stock skis with either Bergstom tripple points and a shim or Rotein dual carbides with a shim.

thats because the nytro carry's more weight over the skis than the apex even though its lighter...
Im going with a lesser carbide on the nytro than the apex with the simmons ...and run less ski pressure as well...more transfer and softer front spring settings...

wow...new skis are kind of like new shoes..everyone llikes somthin different. Thanks for everyone's input..

I got my C&A razors from kj motorsports. Ordered them friday and got them today! Red ski with black loops, this first piece to change my sled to my favorite red and black. If I can resist changing them out I am going to ride my sled first with the stockers and then put these ones on. I want to see why these skis are so horrible.

My new GYTR MT9 skis will be in tommorrow. According to my dealer, they were already shipped.

Wow. I am truly amazed by the amount of "what are the best skis" threads...I am even more amazed by the lack of people recommending the SLP PP. As soon as I go to a race around my place they are on every sled that performs. And as soon as I see a video from the other side of the pond, at least they are on every second sled that performs...
Really, am I the only idiot that likes them...?
Or, is it that most SLP PP users like their skis too much to become internet trolls...?

I've had the same set of SLP Powder Pros on three different sleds now. I love them. I have not tried any other brand of skis though.

Of course I do not have a Nytro, but I did put a set of SLP PP skis on my Viper last year to compliment my Cobra track and I was impressed riding it in the UP of Mich. last year. It cornered on rails and the floatation was good too. They are good skis and the saddles adjust forward and back if the darting gets out of hand. I set them aggressive one day then when we got some fresh powder it wanted to dart so I dropped them back a hole and bingo....darting gone. Just jack the front end up about and inch and pull the main bolt and its a done deal. SLICK!!
