- Other than the stock Yamaha belt, what's the best belt for Aggresive Trail use?
- Dayco, Carlisle, Goodyear?

Ultimax XS - softer compound, flexbile, very little clutch slippage, cooler running clutches ... it will last about 4000 miles ... I've never blown one in the 7 years I've been running them. But if you do, keep the receipt. You can send in the blown belt with your receipt and get a brand new one free of charge with their 1 year warranty.
Whats wrong with the OEM?

best belt is the XS805 it is a softer compound than the 8DN is a hard belt if you are looking for longevity then you want 8DN.

- Nothing wrong with the OEM in my opinion, but I'm looking for a new one and was wondering what everyone was using.

Carlisle XS805 is my next belt John, it's too bad we couldn't find any at the Peterborough show.
The Yamaha Mitubishi belt is the most durable belt,i have blown 2 XS ultimax belts 1 on the srx and 1 on the apex, never any stock ones.yes the XS belts do slip less, transfer more power.when it blew on the apex at 1703mi >10,500rpm< it popped out the lower left panel, lost 2 twist screws (zoots) and scared the chit out of me! never had a belt blow at that rpm..so if you want a little more power to the frozen tarmac -XS-,want durability go with stock.

I will run stock gladly and my sheaves are perfect after 6500 miles on this one 8DN belt that came with the sled and its still going strong. On the 05 rx it has the original belt as well with 4800 miles.

OEM belt works great & only $75. Not sure you would do better just pay more for non OEM belt.

Belt dressing will destroy ANY belt IMO. That stuff should not be used under any circumstanses IMO
