I've run them all. Stick with the 8DN. It's the way to go.

8dn-01. You could search around with a few yamaha parts suppliers for the best deal, but I think I paid about 60 for my last one..

The Yami belt is the best. Tried the others was not happy and went back. Got 180 KPH just like that on the dream meter yesterday.

$55.40 at Port Yamaha, for 8DN That's less than aftermarket belts.
I could have swore that these belts went over $100 several years ago, and the explanation was that the Mack Z belts were about $150, and it gave Yamaha an excuse to raise the price. A gallon of oil for the Z was $40-$50. The belts on the Z's broke often. Ours hardly ever blow.

even at $46 add freifgt $12=$58, i would think your local dealer would sell one at $60 that way your local dealer can stay in business.

I use ultimax XS..... i was finding that the yammi belts "dust" really bad... once i switched to the XS i wasn't getting half the belt dust under the hood as before.... i'm avg about 3-4000 miles per these XS's.... good luck so far.... cheeper than yammy belts here..

good point, it seems as though a lot of dealers are going out of business
