Hi gang,
I'm working on a marketing/PR piece for Yamaha's 10th Anniversary of 4-stroke snowmobiles, and I wish to include quotes, memories and/or stories from real-world riders.

It's amazing to sit back and see how far Yamaha's 4-stroke snow machines have come. What do you remember most about 4-strokes first hitting the market? How has your mindset changed? What's been your favourite "thumper?" Why do you like 4-strokes?

Please, take some time, and write down your thoughts and forward them to us. Bonus marks for including photos and/or videos. Please email to: yournextsled@yamaha-motor.ca. I need these by February 28th (2012 Yamaha sled launch!!).

thanks

My best memory is when my 2003 rx1 sled turned 32000 miles last week and is still running strong and it still turns heads.

wow! 320,000 thats either a record or a typo! LOL

HA! Interesting contrast with the half dressed gal painted on the hood and big bird strapped to the bumper.

My daughter gave me Big Bird when she was little so I didn't have to ever ride alone she is now almost 14 and I just kept it on.

oops typo meant 32000

awesome mileage, that is about 10 600Etec rebuilds worth of mileage! I love the Big bird too, My wife has been trying to find a plush "papa smurf" for mine since I got that nickname a few weeks ago from my riding buddies. I was wearing my old solid red snoforce helmet while riding my white and blue Phazer MTX and one of my buddies called me "Papa Smurf", I guess I like it, I mean papa smurf is pretty wise and would probably drive a Yamaha also!
