Purchased my 2017 Sidewinder LTX from Woodys Yamaha in Topsham ME. Any TYers from Maine recommend other shops to get my Sidewinder serviced? It doesn't have to be a dealership I'd go with a Indy if they are good. Thanks and waiting for snow....

Woodys has been really good to work with so far. They do it all and their prices for parts and maintenance items work for me. Then again, I enjoy doing my own maintenance, but they got my warranty and tune work.
My guess is that none have boosted more Yamaha’s locally since 2003 then Woodys. Lots of experience there, but I am sure there are some that have had good service elsewhere.
I know of 1 other dealer that alot of people speak highly of, but he is way up there in Northern Maine.

Rev it Up Sports in Rangeley. Mike and his wife both ride and he is a true mechanic. Very fair. Not all glitz and glam,a small mom and pop shop but he knows Yamaha products and cares. If you are in the area he has my vote.

I will back up Rev-it-Up, but they are far from Windsor. I brought 2 Apex's up there last year all the way from CT.

Well I'll probably stay with Woodys. Have purchased my Apexs there except one and only because they didn't have the model I wanted plus Woody has always treated me great. I'll do the service on my Apex but just want to have a paper trail at Woodys just in case. Only reason I asked was they couldn't get me in till Jan 2nd but took my number and will get me in sooner if they can plus a added bonus I know Woody is a Turbo Dynamics dealer. But there powerup package is cutting the clutches helix for clearance a CAI kit flash and modded stock muffler by someone other than TD they want 1499 for package. I have clutching already so I may just buy a TD super quiet muffler And CAI have them do install when it's serviced and either have them flash as long as the price is on par with TD or send out my ecu to TD. I'll figure that stuff out after I'm done with Christmas shopping. Doubt there'll be much riding before Jan 2 anyway. Just hope we have a good snowfall this year. Thanks everyone

Yes he does have a thriving business.
I was able to get mine in after a couple of weeks but saw how many tunes were going out on a weekly basis. Impressive.
I did not do the CAI so my kit was a bit cheaper. I chose the eco-trail tune.
You could always do your own kit install and just have him flash the ecu. It involves bringing your sled in for flash so that ECU removal is not needed. I almost went that way but decided to give him the work for a few reasons, Not that I did not want to, but again I have my reasonings which I would talk about in person, not on this site.
FYI, if you are adding AFR gauge his stock muffler mod does not have an O2 sensor bung.
Was not a concern for me whereas I plan on staying mild for now with my tune.Lol
