Swapping Sidewinder ecu

I did not want to void my warranty so I have an extra dash and extra ECU. Yes you can swap them back and forth and it only takes about 15 minutes. The dash and the ECU are linked for mileage etc. My warranty is expired so if someone wants to buy a stock ECU and Dash, let me know

It’s best to know what tune is in it as it could require certain hardware that the sled could be missin, like 3-bar, stock or perf muffler etc.

Exactly..
I still don’t get why somebody would want to switch ecu’s when not knowing the specifics..
Stock to stock is one thing but tuned to tuned is a different animal..

Cat sleds require a POSR PIN code, which is just a code that must be entered once the vehicle is warranty registered. If the POSR PIN code is not entered in a Cat, it only allows for so much run time before it goes into a limp mode.

As long as you swap ECU & dash together, you're fine. The VIN numbers are married between those units.

Can the ECU and dash be swapped together from 2020 non EPS to 2025 EPS sled? I understand the IQS makes a difference but that's not the case here.

ECU has nothing to do with EPS so your good to go. This was figured out a few years back allowing OEM/Factory EPS to any non-EPS sled.

The one I have is the stock one for a 2017 Sidewinder no tune about 6k miles I think in a box with the stock blow off stock map ECU and Dash cluster
