What is the best way to stretch a XTX.

I have a 12' Nytro and i recently put a 2" Camo Finger MTN track on with Wahl extroverts and it still doesnt seem to be enough.

What are my options?

Obviously an MTX skid would be the best way nut are hard to find here in Minnnesota.

Tahnks!

Other than a skid swap from mtx or an aftermarket ski, there are rail extensions. Tracks USA has two options for the 144, either 151 or 159 depending what you want. the also have complete packages with tracks, rails and tunnel extensions. Here are the rail extensions...

How does this work with the tip up? I looked at these and seem reasonable but it seems the extension would make the tip up part be 3 inches off the ground and look funny.

I think you're better off swapping to an MTX or similar skid. I think extensions on the tip ups would cause more slider and track wear issues, and might not even give you the performance you're looking for.
Are you looking to go mountain riding? I have excellent luck with even the deepest snow we see in this part of the country with just an 1 3/4 Backcountry track or Cobra track on my XTX's? You can gain alot of deep snow capability just by swapping to a deeper track and adjusting your skid to reduce the approach angle..
On another note, if you're looking to make it a deep snow machine, you could always just set your XTX skid back in your tunnel and run a 152 or whatever. That'd be moving it between 3-4 inches back, but decreasing the tracks approach angle will help you tremendously.

Not looking to mountain ride. Just boondocking in northern U.P. michigan.

Seems like i give it all its got and seems to spin the track more than hooking up.

Think its the type of track i have?
