I've been complaining about how heavy the steeering is on my 06. My dealer says to put the heavier spring on and it will help and I am a big boy. Anybody tried this?

They are also looking at changing out all of the bushing on the steering linkage. Thoughts?

Thxs.

Well I'm no expert on this, but your current spring probably gives you extra sag on the rear suspension taking weight off the front end, which should make the steering easier. Wouldn't putting a heavier spring reduce the amount of sag in the rear suspension and putting more weight on the front end?

If you are over 220 pounds, you probably need a heavier spring regardless of your steering issues.

Most people adjust the front shocks to reduce steering effort, or the adjust the limiter strap.

i didnt know you could get a stiffer spring for the center shock, but the stiffer springs in the rear, and playing with the weight transfer helped a lot. Things got a bit better with the timber sled set-up for me
