I have a 2007 regular attak . I would like to put in the big boy spring. Is it a yamaha part of aftermarket?? Does anyone have the part# and price? I searched but it did not come up. Thanks
Anybody?
I got the 6.1 for my Apex.
It's in the Yamaha acc. catalog, about a 100$

There are two replacement bigboy springs you can purchase at your dealer. One is stiffer than the stock spring, for up to 250 lbs and the other is Very stiff for FAT guys like me, over 250 lbs.
There are also adjustments on your stock shock to increase the rate. The clicker style on the outside to soften or increase and there is a keeper spring clip under the clicker that requires the spring to be removed in order to adjust.
All the stock adjustments are for smaller guys up to 200 lbs. Yamaha targets the weight of the rider at 180 lbs on a stock sled. They must not make BEER over there.
