Does anyone have any tips on how to keep ice from building up on billet wheels that do not have rubber on them? Took my new to me Attak out yesterday for a good lake run, when I stopped to have a quick inspection to see if everything was ok, I noticed that the billet wheels were about a quarter of an inch larger because of ice build up! Nothing on the plastic/rubber ones! Is there anything I can do to prevent the ice from building up on them or do I have to chuck these in the garbage?

My old 97 Sx had the same trouble on the aluminum/rubber wheels. Didn't cause any trouble until only half the ice came off. Then had a short lived vibration until the rest came off.
I've heard a good coat of WD40 or Pam helps reduce the icing.

Yo Steiner, these don't have any rubber at all but non the less, like you say, they vibrate after they start building up with ice. Didn't realize that ice builds up bigtime on aluminum wheels but not at all on the plastic/rubber ones!

The plastic flexes so ice won't build up as much, pam works well and is more "environmentally friendly" then wd-40. Not really a problem, more an annoyance, unless you really don't want the ice buildup.
