Was out on the ocean, overheat light came on about 40 miles from the closest town. Shut it down and lots of coolant was draining from near the front radiator under the sled. Didn't see the source of the leak. Cooled it down and drove 5 miles or so at a time and packed it with snow to cool it down each time. Made it about 5 miles from town and finally got cell service, at that time I noticed some oil leaking from it as well. Safe to say the engine is pooched. Are these motor's worth fixing or should I just cut my losses and find another sled.
Bought it for around $3500 and I know rebuild's aren't cheap. I can do the work but I hear it is very time intensive. Sled is about 120 miles away (via ice road) so won't get a look at it until the weekend.

As stated dont cost nothing to tear down..look around and see best way to fix. Might find a sled for a good price and recoupe a lot parting out this one.
