hi guys,
what's your take on the boondocker turbo's? this year all i've done is run radar, couldn't be bothered trail riding, trails suck. i was thinking of putting a boondocker 2860 kit on my sled. i will be trail riding a little but primarily it will be used for racing.
what kind of speeds do you think you could get out of it in 1000', 1320', 2000'?
what kind of concerns do you guys have with these systems?

I thought we discussed this already? LOL You lose reverse sled has a tendacy to catch on fire and not as powerfull as the other options we discussed. Are you coming to Northbay this weekend?

How do the fires start?

To much heat, leaking oil lines you name it not my favorite system for us flat landers , not sure about mountain applications but that doesn't matter in this case as he is a flatlander.

lol, i think i'm going to use my sled just for racing. i got told by a couple of guys the rear mount turbo's have too much lag and the sled will keep picking up speed even when you let off throttle. the front mounts don't have that issue and if i'm just racing it it's the turbo to go with.
i won't be able to make it to n.b. this weekend. i am testing though, i bought a 20 tooth top gear and i'm going to see what it'll do in 1320'. the gearing chart shows 1 to 1 is 122mph. i'm hoping to see 115-117mph in 1320'. i'll let you know how i make out. arnie's going to be there and a couple of other cat guys. too bad you couldn't be around because i know i can dust all the stock turbo cat's but he has me with his modified sled.
good luck in n.b. and i'll let you how i make out sun.
if you want i'll give you all the info on the mcx turbo with 340hp?
