My liquid filled boost gauge is only about half full of liquid. Has been since new, is this normal? Can you refill them? :4STroke:

SUPERDAVE- Nice! Looks like you have a handlebar mount. Did you run all the wiring up to the bars, or did you separate out the headlight wires? Or is there another trick to it? Thanks

We put lightweight hoods and if you want to go riding with headlite the wires are run backup to handlebars so gauge stays on with no hood and headlites are heavy!
So you can if you want just unplug the headlites to remove hood.
You can't read or see the gauges on stock sled when riding them!

What happens to the gauges if (when) the sled rolls, with the handlebar mount? I like the idea but don't want to trash everything, are the gauges still low enough to be OK?

SuperDave- Up here we need lights for those long rides/short days!
To clarify what I am thinking of doing is to strip the tape off the wiring harness going to the guages & lights. Then leave the lights wiring hooked up and run the rest of the guage wiring harness to handlebar like you did.
Do you run with your hood off much? I know we used to in the 'old days' but nowadays it seems the hoods stay on....

lightweight hoods

Hi guy! All we do is run hood harness back up to handlebars and then you can plug in to headlites if needed! Hope you understand !
Run harness up right side and there's enough wire to plug back into headlite if needed and have the option to have headlites or not
