Now that this has been out for a couple of years, anybody have reviews of how you like it? The good, the bad, the ugly? (Yes, Clint Eastwood Fan)

I love the new arms BOP has out. I combine them with my Pilot 5.7 single keel skis and Aggressive SnowTrackers for nice easy steering.

My Doos gave me tendinitis they steered so hard. The Sidewinder is terrific and even better with the BOP arms. I honestly don't feel the need for EPS with the above setup, and I owned an EPS Apex at one time so I know how the EPS works. I love the BOP arms!

I also have ridden the apex with power steering and loved it. Do you think BOP mechanical acts the same as Yamaha EPS? I’m also starting to have issues with tendinitis and am contemplating pulling trigger on BOP. There must be others on here who have it and would like their input too.

no it’s not exactly like EPS, but it’s not far from it. I run the BOP in the middle hole as I didn’t use the bent tie rods. It makes for much less steering effort than stock. I have bad tendinitis in both arms and it really never flares up at all riding the sidewinder anymore. I honestly don’t even give it a second thought. And I have no intention of going to the new EPS platform of the winder.

if you have tendinitis absolutely pull the trigger on the BOP arms. You will have no regrets.

Thanks for all your input on stuff Mr. Knapp. Appreciated. Anyone else???

Sorry to hijack, but from what I can tell, this can't be added to mountain spindles, can it ?

My dad has 10k miles on his BOP MPS kit. It has been flawless. This kit rocks as long as you are okay with loosing a small amount of turning radius.

If you like a SHORTER turning radius. They work but if you think you used reverse before you will use it tons now. Any rod that had a bend in it I will pass on. No thanks. I like BOP products but I would not run these.

Thats why I use the stock rods and only run them in the middle hole. I didn't want to run the bent tie rods either.

Does this mean you bought it and have used it or just your opinion?

So setup like you do, you lose no turning radius?

Yes a slight bit, its well worth it and a non issue for me. If it wasn't for the BOP arms, I might think about buying the new EPS sled that is coming, but I know its going to add a whole bunch of weight to that new EPS sled as well. The winder is already a heavy machine and no way do I want it heavier.

Nope I ride with a guy for the last 3000 miles that has it. I listen to him complain about the turning radius. He gives me the thumbs down when we talk about it. We ride big miles. 2500+ a year. Mike has a better idea as far as using the stock rods. My buddy does not post on here. So I’m guilty of not having them. And I never will. BOP MAKES GREAt PRODUCT!

I have just added it. I have about 400 miles on it. It makes a huge difference. I really like it.
Price seems high but I understand he developed it and has to make good money on each. $340 is cheaper than other alternatives - thought $30 for shipping was high. But as far as the product was easy to install and works really well.

Thanks mn-kelly. Keep the reviews coming fellas!!! Also, if anyone responds please note if running 1st or 2nd gen of the power steering.
