Does anybody know if Boss makes a seat for the Attak? Love my Attak but the seating position always seemed a little low for me. Any info would be helpful.

I have the sled and wish it was an inch or so higher. Would really like to find someone that might be able to re do the foam this off season. I don't think Boss makes a seat for it though.

Nope.
They havent made an Apex/Attak seat for 3 or 4 years now. It is slim pickins finding N.O.S. holdovers.
I gave up on sourcing a new or used Boss or Mountain Mod seat and chose to find a nice Apex MTX seat and reskin it to my liking. My thread on this is here:

The MTX seat is WAY firmer and higher (because you dont sink into them 3 inches) than the Apex/Attak ER, Apex/Attak GT type seat. Different foam in the seat from the factory makes a world of difference and you can't beat the fit of an OEM seat.

Or take your seat to a local upholstery shop and have them order very firm foam. I had my 06 Nytro seat made much firmer, recovered, and raised about 1.5" for about a third of the cost of Boss or Mountain Mod.

I did that with my RX1 seat (local upholstery shop. The guy didn't do a very good job so I really hesitate to take anything back there.

My '08 Vector has a custom modified seat with a 4" rise for sale or trade!
I bought a new Apex and no longer need the high seat on the Vector.
If anyone is interested, I can post a pic later this morning. A portion of the seat has silver on it.
You will need to trim the plastic that hides the gas tank.

Nice job, Here's my next question? Can I just put the mountian styrofoam on my Attak base and reuse the Attak foam or is the foam also different on the bottom between the Attak and the Mountain?Snowmobileaddict said:Nope.

No can do. Although the upper foam is the same density across the board for all the different apexs and attacks, the styrofoam block in the bottom of the mtx and RTX mates with an inverse mold of the upper seat foam. Soooo, you'll need to use an entire mtx or RTX seat and then do what you like with the seat cover, keep it or reskin it.
